Star Quilt Squares 11, 12 & 13! Finally!

This one was by far the worst one for me to put together. They should have saved it for last because I would have finished the last 2 quicker. I had to rip out seams FIVE times but that's ok. I sat on my front pourch to do it & it was a nice quiet time for me to have! Mom would say it turned out nice!

This one went together the best~I didn't have to rip out any seams!

If you saw how this one was put together you would think I was an expert. Even though I did it I couldn't tell you how.... I had to rip apart 3 seams but it went pretty fast. It's a little off in a couple places but it's good enough for me. I say that now but I bet it will be bad when I have to put them all together!
Now I have to cut out some other pieces & then get instructions on how to put it together, so it might be awhile for another quilt post!

Garden Walk!

Kim & I were working together again this year as greeters showing people which way to go. If we look blurry in this picture maybe you need glasses! or this is the only picture of the two of us that I have & it's the best I can do for now. We really looked pretty~you'll just have to take my word for it! If I find that someone has a clearer picture of us I will post it at a later date. Anyway. enjoy the rest of the pictures! It was a fun day! If you click on the pictures they get bigger & you can see them better!

This way please...................

Ellen had the best garden and it was so much fun
to hang out! Ellen's beautiful bench with three cute girls trying it out and Grandpa's bench too!

Jane came to demonstrate petal pounding!
it was a big hit!

Jaimee & Tori helped by digging out ground clutter to give to people. They were all so happy to get something free from such cute little girls!

Happy Birthday Connie Marie! I Love You!

Two More Campers Came Home!

Thursday afternoon the final two children came home from camp! The perfect beginning to a fun 4th of July celebration. We got to hang out at the annual light parade! I'm glad everyone is at home again!

The Day After!

The day after the 4th of July or better known as July 5~the day after! Another BEAUTIFUL day to just lay around in the sun & rest & eat dark chocolate M&M's & popcorn, taco dip, starburst, red licorice, original Lay's potatoe chips and many other things from the food group pyramid and then have another cook-out for supper! The 4th of July is truly a wonderful holiday!

I just had to post this picture of a smiling boy!
All the ground fireworks have been blown off &
driving the jet ski is a fun day for this smiling boy!
