Every year at our church we have the Grand Prix, (known as pine wood derby races in the olden days). The kids make cars & then race them~it's always a fun time! And it's not all about cars...there is posing for Grandma to take pictures...because they're so cute!

I finally figured out how to put this square together. The first one is my practice one. I was going to make it out of muslin but then I went down & picked out some of mom's material. When it was all finished I really liked it. But I decided to make the one out of the material that I bought~I really like that one too! I am so surprised at how great they are all turning out so far. They are the right size too!
