A Wonderful Visit with Family!

We went to visit our family in New York. Aunt Jeanne is my mom's only sister & our only Aunt! Here I am with Uncle Pete, Aunt Jeanne's husband!
Here we are with our cousins, we are missing our cousin Kathy!

Here is Aunt Jeanne with 3 of her nieces, we are missing Debbie!

Here we are with cousin Carol with the cow at the Jello museum in Leroy New York~jello was invented there~the cow doesn't have any thing to do with jello though!

On the way home we stopped at Niagara Falls. Jane convinced us to go on the Maid of the Mist and boy were we glad to go~it was so much fun & we were so glad to get wet because it was a VERY hot day!

Here we are 'with' our mom! She went on the Maid of the Mist when she was young & we had a picture of her when she was there, so, Ellen put her in the boat with us! The rain gear has changed over the years!

We had the best time hanging out with our family! A vacation I won't forget for a long time!

This one made me think of Tori~she loves shoes

This is just pretty

I thought this one was unique~ buildings on a quilt

This is just fun & colorful

This reminded me of my childhood~these flowers grew around our house on Glendale

Women's Retreat 2010

We are always a hospitality room at our retreat. We get a fablous room & we get to see almost all of the women who attend our retreat because they come to our room for food! This year our theme was: Prom, Stairway to Heaven. There were 5 other rooms: Girls Just Want to Have fun, Debutante Ball, Pomp & Circumstance, Pink or Blue & Here comes the Bride. The overall theme was "Times of Your Life" It's lots of fun & good food!
2 girls from our room wore prom dresses~this is Sarah & she even made us wrist corsages!

This is my Connie & she is the other one who wore a dress...the rest of us just helped decorate!

We even had a balloon arch for our prom goers... it was really cool!

These are the girls in our prom room! It was a fun time being together!

Our speaker was Susie Larson & the theme was God's Promises to a Woman's Heart. God really used her to speak to our hearts. God is crazy in love with us & we are His treasure & we can live in His promises! Only He can make us whole & set us free! Just keep looking into His eyes! I am His & He goes with me every where!

Thursday in Lexington~A day trip to the quilt store!

On the way to the quilt store we saw a race car on the highway...so we took some pictures to show the boys~they love race cars

We made it to the quilt shop...

all of us!

Liam was the best little shopper

the nice ladies at the shop helped me pick out material that I really love so now I can make a quilt that looks like a piece of art!

Can't wait to get started!!!

Paducah Kentucky Day 2

Art work on the street: $8,000.00!
I thought this would make a nice outfit to wear to a wedding that I have coming up!

We took a break & sat by the water watching the barge go by
then we thought we saw our brother, Rob~even though he thought I was taking his picture, I pretended I was taking a picture of something else...I'm so sly! I think he's waving because he thought I was pretty!

Ellen in the pretty bushes outside the place we ate lunch

We all took a turn with the indian guy...he had gold coins hanging around his neck & his earrings!

least anyone think I am the only crazy one

he was quite the dancer

by the pretty flood water walls

A fun day in Paducah was had by all, even the statues & a strange guy we thought was our brother!
