A Wonderful Visit with Family!
We went to visit our family in New York. Aunt Jeanne is my mom's only sister & our only Aunt!

Kaffe, Outside The Box
This is a piece of material that was used in the sashing. I cut it in 3/4" strips & then sewed it between 2~2 inch pieces of black material to complete the sashing that is around the squares. It looks like it was weaved into the black material. Quite unique!

I finished the top of my Kaffe quilt. The person who designed this material is Kaffe Fassett. It was a block of the month at Quilters Connection in Green Bay. I would have never picked any of this material if I was doing it by myself but I am glad they did & that I participated. I think it turned out nice & even though it's wild, I really like it!
It measures 65 inches wide by 79 inches long
